About Cynthia

Cynthia Lee Fontaine is a Puerto Rico-born singer, actor, activist, and drag queen. Cynthia and her “cucu” won the hearts of fans on two seasons of the Emmy-award-winning television show, RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she was awarded the crown of Miss Congeniality. "Cucu," Entertainment Weekly says, has evolved "into the queer pop cultural canon."

Cynthia recorded two christian full-length albums, Bienvenido al Hogar, and El Lenguaje de Cristo early on in her career.

In 2018, Cynthia released her first hit single “Pegajosa” and its accompanying music video, dubbed “ultra-fabuloso” by James St. James. Cynthia continues to release music and tours the world entertaining her adoring fans.

Activism

Cynthia serves as a National Drag Ambassador for Drag Out The Vote, helping to engage and turn out voters across the country.

In 2017, Cynthia helped raise $80,000 for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico with fellow Drag Race alum, Phi Phi O’Hara.

Cynthia is also a volunteer for the Austin, Texas Community AIDS Resources and Education (CARE Program) as a Peer Support Specialist and Outreach worker.
